Chili Con Carne
Equipment
- Dutch oven or other larger heavy pot
Ingredients
- lb Ground Chicken Orange Door Acres Ground Chicken
- 2 Medium Yellow Onions diced
- 1 Green Bell Pepper diced
- 19 oz can of Red Kidney Beans add entire contents of can do not drain
- 28 oz can of Diced Tomatoes add entire contents of can do not drain
- 1 small can of Tomato Paste
- 1 - 2 tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 - 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 tbsp Worchestershire sauce
- 2 - 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp Tabasco Sauce more to taste
- 3 green onions chopped
Instructions
- Brown the ground chicken in the Dutch oven. Add the onions and green pepper continue cooking for 10 minutes
- Add remaining ingredients, turn heat down to a simmer and cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours stirring frequently to prevent burning
- Top with cheese curds and chopped green onions. Serve with your favourite bread and enjoy
